TREE REMOVAL: Rolly Danielson
disposed of all the trees and brush on Monday.
2.
SYMPATHY: Scott Walker’s uncle
died in Wisconsin. The Walker family is
attending the funeral today.
3.
GRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL: Classes for the Learning Center (grade 6-12)
begin next Tuesday, August 31. Pray for
our staff and students.
4.
SUMMER SINGERS REHEARSAL: The final rehearsal for summer singers
will be next Sunday night before the evening service at 6:00 PM.
5. PROJECTS DONE: Mike Hanson did service
on the furnace at the little house on Monday.
Betty Roettger arranged for commercial cleaning of the carpet at the
little house and continues to help set up the classroom. Dave Hooge and Mel Herme removed the west
hall doors and they are being sandblasted and repainted to match the hall
décor. Dave Miller has been painting
the Learning Center walls.
6. ST. PETER CABLE SYSTEM: We are back on the air on public access in
St. Peter. “IBM” is released at 4:30 PM
each Monday and beginning in September, the telecast will be aired at both 4:30
PM and 10:00 PM each Monday.
7. CANCER: Pray for persons with cancer: Mr. Newton. the father
of Vickie Pankow, Howard Carlson, Mae Langford, Dorothy Korff, Susan
Harder, Casey Baustian (Mankato Lutheran Home). Harry Stewart (Val Perrizo's
uncle). Margaret Day. Missionary
builders Paul and Joyce Oetken have an 8 month daughter, Arianna, who
has been diagnosed with cancer. Rita

28. CAMP FOLLOW-UP: The Sunday School staff will meet every
Wednesday during September to intensify plans for follow-up with the many
wonderful children who attended camp this summer. It will begin next Wednesday September 1 under the direction of
Pastor Schofield.
29. COSTA RICA CAMP OFFERING: Last week a total of $306.72 was given at
camp to help sponsor campers to attend the camps directed by Danny White in
Costa Rica. Rachel Carlson plans to
help at the camps in January.
30. GCS STAFF: Orientation for the Christian School staff will begin tomorrow at
9:00 AM. Please pray for a great school
year.
